Those of us who live on campus have typical norms we live by. We live with many other people. We have a resident assistant, and we’re invited to attend wing socials and all-hall activities.

Students protest selling cookies based on race

COMMENTARY

Southern Methodist University ended an affirmative action protest Wednesday initiated by the Young Conservatives of Texas. The protest consisted of a bake sale offering cookies at different prices based on the consumer’s race and gender.

Like, you know, stop using ‘like’ in, like, every sentence

So you know how you’re all, like, “I want a good job,” and you know you have to get, like, the best internship or whatever, and you’ve got to have, like, a stellar résumé and stuff? That’s all, like, cool or whatever, but there’s, like, a little something else you need to do: Stop using the word “like” in every single sentence you speak.
