Womens
golf sits in 2nd, trails leader by one
The womens golf team, which entered the day with
a 13-stroke lead at the Baylor-Tapatio Springs Shootout,
slipped into second place at the event after posting
a 31-over-par 319 on day two Monday. TCU, with a 41-over
617, trails Missouri (616) by one stroke. The Frogs,
victorious at the Waterlefe/USF Invitational, are looking
for their second team title in the last week.
Sophomore DRae Ward remains in first place. Junior
Brooke Tull is currently is tied for ninth. Freshman
Stephanie Godare (156) opened the tournament with an
even-par 72, but posted an 84 (+12) in the second round.
Godare is now tied for 15th place overall. Shannon Barr
(165) and freshman Traci Robison (166) are TCUs
other competitors. Barr is tied for 40th place, while
Robison shares 42nd.
