Congrats to the Lady Frogs for the tourney win

Congratulations Lady Frogs. We followed you throughout the Conference USA Tournament, from the frustrating first game with East Carolina on Thursday evening to what Memphis sports writer David Williams called “the best basketball game of this season at The Pyramid”—the tournament-winning game on Sunday afternoon against the Cincinnati Lady Bearcats.

What a game. To quote Cincinnati coach, Lauri Pirtle, “Give credit to them and their coaching staff to get those kids mentally tough and to play with that kind of guts. They were definitely on a mission.”

Thanks also for the TCU Women’s Basketball “Part of the Family” T-shirts. We were proud to wear it during the tournament.
