- Announcements of campus events, public meetings and other general
campus information should be brought to the TCU Daily Skiff office at Moudy
Building South, Room 291, mailed to TCU Box 298050 or e-mailed to skiffletters@tcu.edu.
Deadline for receiving announcements is 2 p.m. the day before they are
to run. The Skiff reserves the right to edit submissions for style, taste
and space available.

- Alpha Phi Omega and Recreational Sports will sponsor Professors'
Night Out from 5:30 to 11 p.m. Saturday in the Rickel Building. All faculty

- Harris College of Nursing will conclude its series of programs
on exploring career opportunities in nursing with "How Can a Nurse
Solve a Crime?" from 5 to 6:30 p.m. today in the Student Center, Room
203. A forensic nurse, specializing in crimes related to sexual assault,
will discuss the role of the nurse in the growing field of forensics. For

- The English department will sponsor "Pong Jam: A Fast-Moving
Synthesis of Poetry and Music," an improvisational poetry reading
with audience participation, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. today in the TCU Bookstore
Café. The "Pong Jam" is an open-mike event, and anyone
who wishes to can stand up and read his or her own poetry.

- The first mandatory pre-departure orientation session for all
students studying abroad in Spring 2000 will be from 3 to 4 p.m. today
in the Student Center, Room 205. The session will cover all paperwork needing
to be completed before departure.

- RTVF Thursday Film Series will present "The Picture of
Dorian Gray" (1945) at 7 p.m. today in Moudy Building South, Room
164.

the annual Holiday Craft Fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 2 in the Student
Center Lounge and Reading Room.
