- Harris College of Nursing will conclude its series of programs
on exploring career opportunities in nursing with "How Can a Nurse
Solve a Crime?" from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the Student Center,
Room 203. A forensic nurse, specializing in crimes related to sexual assault,
will discuss the role of the nurse in the growing field of forensics. For

Synthesis of Poetry and Music," a poetry reading with audience participation,
from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday in the TCU Bookstore Café.

- The first mandatory pre-departure orientation session for all
students studying abroad in Spring 2000 will be from 3 to 4 p.m. Thursday
in the Student Center, Room 205. The session will cover all paperwork needing
to be completed before departure.

of the Universe," at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in Winton-Scott Hall, Room
145. Igor Prokhorenkov, an assistant professor of math, will speak at the
program. Refreshments will be available before the lecture from 3 to 3:30
p.m. in Winton-Scott Hall, Room 171.
