The art of negotiation
TCU is continuing to negotiate the purchase of The Contemporary Art Center in downtown Fort Worth after contract talks broke down during the summer, TCU officials said. If acquired, the center would give the university a downtown presence and would be used as an exhibition area for emerging artists and professionals in the community. Lecture series, graduate courses and fine arts performances would also be held in the center, located at Commerce and Fourth streets. See Tuesday's issue for a full report.
