Announcements
of campus events, public meetings and other general campus information
should be brought to the TCU Daily Skiff office at Moudy Building
South, Room 291, mailed to TCU Box 298050 or e-mailed to (skiffletters@tcu.edu).
Deadline for receiving announcements is 2 p.m. the day before they
are to run. The Skiff reserves the right to edit submissions for
style, taste and space available.
- International
Week,
sponsored by the International Student Association and Programming
Council, will be today through Saturday. The purpose of the week
is to promote multicultural awareness on campus and to have international
students share their culture and customs with students, faculty
and staff. A cultural exhibit and silent auction will be from
11 a.m. to 3 p.m. today in the Student Center Lounge.
- A neighborhood
crime watch meeting will be held at 4 p.m. today at Worth
Hills Cafeteria. The topic will be Internet and drug crime.
- The Kino
Monda World Film Series will present La Grande Vadrouville
at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Sid W. Richardson Building, Lecture
Hall 1. Admission for the viewing is free. Yves R. Dumond, a chemistry
professor, will introduce the film. For more information call

- Student
teaching applications for fall 2001 are due Friday. Applications
and disks are in the computer lab on the third floor of the Bailey
Building.
- The Seventh
Annual Womens Symposium will be March 27 to 29. A Women
and Community Dinner will be at 6:30 March 27 in the Student Center
Ballroom. Candace OKeefe from the Womens Museum in
Dallas will be the keynote speaker and an art exhibit by Adriana
Martinex de Audriac will be on display. The cost is $12 for students
and $15 for everyone else. Holly Near, a partner in establishing
the Womens Music Movement in the 1970s, will have a concert
at 8 p.m. March 28 in the PepsiCo Recital Hall. Tickets are $15
for TCU students, faculty and staff and $18 for everyone else.
A trip to the Womens Museum in Dallas will be on March 29.
Those wanting to go can meet in front of the Student Center at
1:15 p.m. Tickets are $8 for students and $10 for everyone else.
