Christopher Young,
head of the organ department at Indiana University, will hold a
concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday in Ed Landreth Hall. His program is
sponsored by the Sue Wheeler Smith Endowment Fund of TCU and the
Fort Worth chapter of the American Guild of Organists.
The Center for Academic Services will offer
free study skills workshops. Effective Note-taking and Textbook
Skills will be at 7 p.m. Monday in Reed Hall, Room 101, or
at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Reed Hall, Room 117. Bring paper, pen and your
syllabi to the workshops.
The Mortar Board will have a meeting at
6 p.m. Tuesday in the Student Center, Room 205. Members are asked
to bring pictures or negatives from Mortar Board activities that
they would like to include in the scrapbook. For more information

The Second Valentines Concert will
present the music of Glenn Miller at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 14 in Ed Landreth
Hall. Admission is $8 for the public and $5 for TCU students, faculty
and staff with ID.
TCU students interested in entering a creative
writing contest may pick up contest applications and descriptions
in Reed Hall, Room 314, and in Rickel Building, Room 100. Twenty-four
prizes totaling near $3000 will be given to students who write poetry,
fiction, dram and essays. The deadline is Feb. 16.
Announcements of campus events, public meetings
