International enrollment drops this school year

Undergraduate international enrollment is down 8.8 percent due to the economy and the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. University admissions procedures will not be changed, officials said.

The ballet “Giselle,” a story of the troubled love life of the young that ends in tragedy, was performed Oct. 11-13 at the Nancy Lee and Perry R. Bass Performance Hall. The play was staged for the Fort Worth Dallas Ballet season opener by the team of Denise Schultze Godfrey and Louis Godfrey.

Minority enrollment increased this year. An article in an Oct. 4 Skiff article incorrectly quoted an official saying it decreased.

SGA can’t donate horned frog

The Fort Worth Zoo said they are not sure if they will be permitted to accept funds raised by the Student Government Association to help purchase a new horned frog because it is against state law to possess, sell, trade or take one from the wild.
