in year-long forum series starts today
John Singleton, director of International Services,
said the assimilation of international students in the
United States and at TCU will be among the topics he
addresses today during Chancellor Michael Ferraris
lunch forum.
Sponsored by the Chancellors Council on Diversity,
the forum is supposed to broaden perspectives on diversity
and inclusiveness, said Cornell Thomas, special
assistant to the chancellor for diversity and community.
We hope to convey that differences dont
necessarily constitute inequalities, Thomas said.
Singleton will be the first speaker in the year-long
series of discussions intended to raise awareness of
various issues affecting the community.
The luncheon will be at 11:30 a.m. today at the Dee
J. Kelly Alumni and Visitors Center.
