By Stacey Grant
Staff Reporter

Alpha Delta Pi’s “Mocktails Blend-Off” will benefit Ronald McDonald House charities.
The event has 21 teams of four scheduled to compete, made up of representatives from sororities, fraternities and other student organizations. Each team will create an original non-alcoholic beverage and will be judged according to taste, presentation, creativity and spirit.

Judges for the event include Tim Carter, president and CEO of Harris Methodist Health Foundation and member of the advisory council for the Ronald McDonald House of Fort Worth, head basketball coach Neil Dougherty, Star-Telegram columnist Joy Donovan, marketing director for Billy Bob’s Texas nightclub Pam Minick, TCU faculty and other members of the Fort Worth Community.

The grand prize winner will receive a trip for their team to Breckenridge, Colo.

Music will be provided by 96.7 KMEO-FM, a Dallas-Fort Worth country music station.
A representative from the Department of Public Safety will also speak on the dangers of drunk driving.

The event is free to students. Students should bring spare change to cast their vote for best drink. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Ronald McDonald House charities.
